Junior Ambassador ProgramThe Junior Ambassador Program seeks to reach out to those students who are the next generation of leaders for Mint Hill. Being a Junior Ambassador prepares the students for constructive and responsible participation in community affairs as well as furthering the mission of Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce, which is to support, promote and attract business for the advancement of the community. Not only does it help local students serve the community, but it also helps to shape and prepare them for the future. Being an ambassador also develops lifelong traits of responsibility, time management, hard work, dedication, and commitment. The Junior Ambassadors Program Presents the opportunity to network, Coordinate events, and work within a business environment. Throughout the year-long program, students explore our community – its resources, leadership needs, issues, and opportunities. They share ideas and learn what it takes to work together and to become decision-makers. They examine how to develop the abilities and skills needed to be responsible participants in community affairs. This program is designed to motivate students to think seriously about the role they'd like to play and the difference they can make in their community. A key component in the program is leadership training - allowing the students to practice their own unique styles of leadership in a group environment.Students we’re looking for:● Applicants must be a junior for the 2023-2024 school year at Independence, Queens Grant, or Rocky River High School. ● Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above throughout the entire school year. ● No disciplinary referrals that have resulted in an off-campus suspension. ● Completed Application ● Letter of Recommendation ● A valid email addressName*First Name*Last Name*Address*Address Line 1*Address Line 2City*State*Select option...AlabamaAlaskaArizonaArkansasCaliforniaColoradoConnecticutDCDelawareFloridaGeorgiaHawaiiIdahoIllinoisIndianaIowaKansasKentuckyLouisianaMaineMarylandMassachusettsMichiganMinnesotaMississippiMissouriMontanaNebraskaNevadaNew HampshireNew JerseyNew MexicoNew YorkNorth CarolinaNorth DakotaOhioOklahomaOregonPennsylvaniaRhode IslandSouth CarolinaSouth DakotaTennesseeTexasUtahVermontVirginiaWashingtonWest VirginiaWisconsinWyomingDCZip/Postal Code*Cell Phone Number*Do not include dashes or country codeEmail*Email is the main line of communication with the chamber.
